The Little Things

Commentary: I would like to invite everyone to a groundbreaking Lyme awareness event taking place in June in Dutchess County. Writers, actors, directors and producers Mary Stuart Masterson (Fried Green Tomatoes, Benny & Joon) and Jeremy Davidson (Salt, Royal Pains, Army Wives) are bringing Lyme disease awareness to the stage at The Bardavon Opera House, Poughkeepsie, NY, on June 8th at 7:00pm. This presentation is based on a true story of one person’s struggle with this devastating disease and will conclude with my doing a Q & A following the performance. I met Mary Stuart and Jeremy several months ago when they asked me to preview the piece at the Hudson Opera House, and I was deeply touched by this emotionally powerful theatrical production. The suggested donation for the show is only $6. Please come and meet the actors and directors, learn about tick-borne diseases, and show your support for this family who have had their lives transformed by Lyme disease.
